Let's Talk Product!: Specific Topicals for Rosacea

A New Course Series Has Launched!

We are so excited that this course launches a brand new series of courses here on NaturopathicAestheticsCE.com known as the Let’s Talk Product series. Contrast to how topicals were previously touched-on in past courses, these courses will instead provide a full and open discussion as to what specific and brand name topical products exemplify those concepts and information discussed in other courses on the site. 

This first course of the new series is a sister course to that of Beyond the Textbook: Topical Management of Rosacea. Although it’s not required, it is highly recommended to first take the sister course ahead of this one as it will provide for more depth, clinical details, and research surrounding most of the topical products and cosmeceutical ingredients discussed in this course. Skincare is such a central, yet often under appreciated aspect of rosacea care. Our goal is to provide you with a product-focused starting point, or basis, from which you can then continue to create and build your own set of topical product recommendations to help support your Rosacea patient population. 

This course will explore a range of topical products, including:

• Facial skin cleansers
• Facial moisturizers
• Rosacea-focused topicals (ex. serums for facial erythema)
• Sunscreens

This course is an excellent way to familiarize yourself with many of the common topical products on the market designed for both rosacea and sensitive-prone skin
